Hours:AM/PM/8 HOUR SHIFT/WEEKEND WORK/ON CALL
Job Details:
All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Palmetto Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork. In addition, this position is responsible for accurate and timely work in performing Patient phlebotomy, ordering/processing laboratory tests, labeling, monitoring computer reports, clerical duties as assigned, positive and courteous patient interaction. Education: high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 3 months related experience or certificate in phlebotomy from accredited program. Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: none. Special Training: certificate from accredited program; must be able to read and follow simple written instructions, must be able to perform computer skills, interpersonal skills.
