Hours:AM/8 HRS/WEEKEND WORK
Job Details:
All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Palmetto Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork. In addition, this position is proficient and accurate in all aspects of laboratory testing of section to which assigned. Performs and is responsible for department operations as assigned. Education: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an ASCP certification approved program. Experience: Minimum 6 months experience as MLT(ASCP). Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: MLT(ASCP). Special Training: must possess knowledge and skills to perform laboratory tests on patients of all ages, computer skills preferred, interpersonal skills.
