Job Details:
All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Palmetto Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork. In addition, this position is proficient and accurate in all aspects of general laboratory testing of section to which assigned. Education: Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an ASCP certification approved program. Experience: Minimum 6 months experience as MLT (ASCP). Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: MT (ASCP) or specialty exam or equivalent as determined by professional director. Special Training: must possess knowledge and skills to perform laboratory tests on patients of all ages, computer skills, interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively.
