1. Certifications: ASCP, NCA or equivalent required.
2. Licensure: No state license required.
3. Experience: At least two years experience preferred. Bachelors in Medical Technology or Associates degree required.
4. Procedures: Microscopically examines specimens utilizing fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) for detection of cancer. Performs all related Quality Assurance documentation tasks. Assumes the responsibility for supervision of staff performing technical preparations in the absence of a general supervisor and prepares technical preparations in the absence of support staff.
5. Schedule: You will be working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
