BS preferred but associates or equivalent experience accepted in a related field. HT or HTL (ASCP) or eligible with registry recommended within one year of employment. Demonstration in the operation of microtomes, tissue processor and stainers, tissue embedding, PH meter and computers may be required. Computer skills mandatory Ability to troubleshoot daily problems and issues as they arise and be part of a professional team of technologists. Full Time Day shift

Start Date: 9/30/2009

Certifications: ASCPHT/ASCPHTL 4yr

Experience: In level 1 Trauma Center or Reference Lab w/ lots of exp as a HT or HTL
